NEW
JERSEY STATE WINNER
19-year-old,
Jennifer
had difficulties memorizing biological
facts in class. She knew animations
enhanced her studying so she came up
with an idea to create a video game that
is for the most part biologically
accurate. In Jennifer's game, 'Anatomy
Lesson of Dr. Tulp', Dr. Tulp minimizes
you to let you get inside your sick
friend's body. You must get through
different levels to save your friend. In
each level you will face different
enemies such as cancer cells, virus
cells, LDLs (the bad cholesterol) that
you must kill. The levels will be
different parts of the body, so you
learn while you play!
Jennifer won first place in the
2009 By Kids For Kids Invent A Game New
York Challenge.
She received a $1000 (face value) U.S.
savings bond and a Best Buy gift card. |
