'Lockerlites' Line to be in Walmart for Back to School

Blair Breazeale, 12, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Invents 'LockerLites,' a New Line of Products to Decorate School Lockers

Stamford, CT (PRWEB) June 8, 2009 -- By Kids For Kids Co. (BKFK) today announced a deal with Walmart that will see 'LockerLites," created by BKFK kid inventor Blair Breazeale, on their store shelves in time for 'Back to School' this June. The 'LockerLites' line-up at Walmart this summer will include lighted locker magnets and lighted locker mirrors. These products will be available in approximately 1,700 Walmart stores nationwide.

'LockerLites' was the brainchild of kid inventor Blair Breazeale, who was just 11 years old when she conceived the idea for the product. Blair got her first private locker when she entered 6th grade, but was a bit disappointed by how dark, depressing and cold it was. Blair actually went shopping at various retailers to see if there was anything "cool" available to decorate and brighten her locker. When she could not find the type of products she was looking for, Blair began to sketch out her ideas for new products that would transform old lockers into fun and exciting places to visit between classes.

"I decided to light up my locker!" commented Blair, "LockerLites include multiples styles and colors, so all kids can express their unique personalities. I am very excited to see my idea come to life so quickly and that it will be at Walmart for 'Back to School' this year!"

Aesthetic as well as functional, a three button cell battery powers Lockerlites, which can be replaced easily by the user. One unique and exciting feature of these products is that when they are powered "On", they light up the dark locker interior when the locker door is opened, and they cut power when the locker door is closed because they have a built in photo cell power control. Equipped with powerful magnets, Lockerlites are portable, mobile and can be stationed anywhere inside the locker.

Norman Goldstein, the founder and CEO of BKFK, commented: "Congratulations to Blair for her colorful and innovative Lockerlites line! All it takes is one great idea properly developed and cultivated to achieve retail success. We feel extremely confident that Lockerlites will be a big hit for 2009 'Back to School.'"
