Vita-Stix - Fun Daily Vitamin Ritual By Kids for Kids

Shanice set out to make the daily vitamin ritual something fun that kid’s look forward to. Her strongest inspiration came from the candy category in the form of the Vita-Stix, granulated vitamins packaged in a “straw stick” or “pixi stick” format. Each plastic straw container is the recommended daily allowance. Vita-Stixs come packaged in a clear plastic cylindrical container with a secure, safe, kid-protected lid. Now kids will ask to take their vitamins everyday and moms will receive ultimate satisfaction.

- She won the By Kids for Kids Entrepreneurial award out of 600 children at the 22nd Annual Connecticut Invention Convention.

Shanice, at age 11 wanted to find a better way to get kids to take their vitamins as she dreaded having to chew or swallow an unpleasant-tasting or oddly-shaped vitamin throughout her own childhood. She could see this was a universal problem that created morning anxiety for parents and kids. It’s time to come up with a more positive way to start the day!
