Russell created Water Tag by designing a vest
that holds water in 4 interior pockets. Plugs keep the water
from spilling out of the vest until a player gets tagged.
When a member of the opposing team pulls a ribbon attached
to the end of the plug, the vest-wearer gets soaked, and
they are out until the next game.
Now when Russell and his friends play touch
football, instead of touching the player with the ball they
pull the ribbon and soak the player. Great summer fun!

| At the age of 11, Russell loved
to play outside with his neighborhood friends. Russell
loved football and capture-the-flag, so he decided
to try to add another dimension to these old favorites.
He decided to add water by inventing a vest that the
players wear that soaks the player when he/she is
tagged out. From Russell’s creativity came Water
Tag, a great game for kids playing outside to cool
down on a hot summer day. |
