Ideation Tips: Help Animals |
For animal lovers who want to help improve the life of a pet or an animal,
here are some tips to help you generate the best ideas possible for your
idea locker..
Step 1. Do Your Research:
Do you know people with pets live an average of 7 years more than
those who do not own animals? Do you know that many species can
become extinct without public protection and attention? Find out the
impact of animals on people and vice versa.
Step 2. Identify Your Idea:
Decide what area you want to focus on. You can work on an idea that
influences your neighborhood, family, your school etc. You may pick
one of the following:
• Spread public awareness on endangered species
• Develop products to improve the use of animals as a support to
humans
• Help people understand the importance of remembering pets and
livestock when preparing for potential disasters
• Create a campaign against animal experimentation and animal abuse
Step 3. Design a Campaign or Product:
Learn tools that you need to develop a campaign/activity. Design
various facets to a campaign/activity to promote awareness of
endangered species, animal comfort, disaster planning etc.
If you are making a product, ask these questions to yourself:
• What is it going to look like?
• Can everyone use it?
• What materials is it made of?
• What are the parts and pieces?
Step 4. Test It:
You need to see if your idea really works. Ask your
friends and classmates to critique your campaign/product.
