Hands on Hand Clap Game
Inventor: Ana
Invented at age: 10
She had a problem: Ana realized she could only play the
hand clap games that she loved when she was with another
friend. As much as Ana enjoyed playing hand games with
her buddies, she became frustrated that she had nobody
to play with when her friends were not around.
She had an idea: Ana came up with the Hands on Hand Clap
game, an electronic clapping game that allows a single
person to play by following along with glowing hands on
the screen of an electronic device. The player is free
to choose the difficulty of the game as well as the rhyme
they want to clap along to! Ana even wanted the user to
be able to input their own rhymes by teaching new hand
clap patterns to the game. Now you can stay entertained
and practice your clap games even when you are by yourself!
She
developed it: She made a prototype of her invention by
gluing felt onto a bead kit and pasting gloves onto it.
The idea was a hit: She won the By Kids For Kids Xerox
2005-06 Invent-A-Toy World Games!
Ana plays soccer, her favorite celebrity is Bethany Hamilton
and her favorite TV show is Unfabulous.
