BKFK Announces That's Me On TV!
Contest challenges youth to envision a new TV show in which they are the Star

Stamford, CT (September 5, 2008) – By Kids For Kids (BKFK) today announced the
launch of the That's Me on TV!
Challenge. Through this rapid fire creative contest, BKFK will uncover
innovative new TV show ideas from both American and Canadian youth. The contest
will encourage visual self-expression, and may even discover the next big TV
star. The contest runs until September 30, 2008. All entries must be received
online via the BKFK website, www.bkfk.com.
That's Me on TV! entries can be, but are not limited to: TV shows, sitcoms,
reality shows, fictionalized real life stories, or a fiction story or film. All
youth between the ages of 5 and 19 in the United States and Canada (except
Quebec) are eligible to participate.
Entries must include a full outline describing the new TV show or film idea.
BKFK.com provides an optional mechanism for video uploads to enhance
submissions. The winner of That's Me on TV! will receive a BKFK Kid's MasterCard
Gift card, invented by Scott Barnhill, loaded with a $500 credit to spend. Also,
their idea will be pitched to a TV/film production company.
Norman Goldstein, the founder and CEO of BKFK, commented, "With the fall season
of new shows appearing, we know that kids have great ideas as to what they like,
what they don't like, and what's missing on TV. That's Me on TV! is their chance
to have their voices heard! Video cameras and editing tools are much more
accessible for kids to craft their ideas into a show. After all, what's better
than content created by and for kids?"
