BKFK CEO Norman Goldstein Addresses Join Session of the Congressional Black Caucus Education Braintrust and the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education Caucus

Washington, DC - September 23, 2005 - BKFK Co. "BKFK" announced today that CEO Norman Goldstein addressed a joint session of the Congressional Black Caucus and the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math "STEM" Education caucus on Friday, September 23. Mr. Goldstein spoke of the great importance of "Inventive Thinking" as a way to ignite kids' interest in STEM careers. He also addressed the "Challenge of Equity" and announced special Inventive Thinking programs for traditionally underserved communities. Additional caucus speakers included representatives from NASA, Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

BKFK, one of the nation's leading organizations dedicated to cultivating the creativity of our youth, was also among the winners of The Education Technology Think Tank's, "ET3" 2005 TEC Champion Partnership Awards. The company shared this honor with their partners Xerox Corporation, Mattel, Scholastic and the Brooklyn Children's Museum. Also recognized was the United States Patent & Trademark Office's Project XL, for providing the core curriculum of BKFK's Inventive Thinking program. Other organizations receiving the ET3 TEC Championship Partnership Award included: The Hip Hop Summit Action Network, NASA SEMAA, SECME Early College High School Initiative and Valiant Technology & CIS-TEC Watch Alliance with Medgar Evers College.

ET3 a national collaborative of business, civic and government-sector representatives committed to harnessing technology and telecommunications for economic and educational empowerment of traditionally underserved communities. BKFK Co. and partners were recognized by ET3 for actively inspiring today's young people to learn to invent while in their youth, when it's most important.

The TEC Champion Partnership Awards took place on Friday September 23 during the Congressional Black Caucus Education Braintrust Symposium, chaired by Brooklyn, New York Congressman Major R. Owens. Inaugurated in 1999, the ET3 TEC Champion Partnership Awards are given annually to honor innovative public and private partnerships that empower underserved communities.
