Invented by 8 and 9 year olds Mathew Balick and Justin Lewis

 

Mathew & Justin were bored at a youth basketball banquet and started playing with lid supports from pizza boxes at the team party. Soon, every kid and parent in the room was flipping them everywhere and the boys decided this would be a great toy. 

FLIP-ITZ is a collectible, novelty toy line which has many games to play including the mindless past time of flipping, flopping, hopping and popping the plastic spider–like characters just for the fun of it! FLIP-ITZ are portable, can be played anywhere and anytime, it’s fun for all ages and just its simplicity makes you feel exhilarated. The product can comes in various themes, generic and licensed, and would also make a great QSR promotional product. Great for drug store, supermarket, convenient store, mass market distribution.

Flip-Itz are sold in over 1,500 independent gift shops and drug chains including Zany Brainy and Learning Express. They were featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal in 2001 and several other newspapers across the country. The boys have appeared on the Early Show, GMA, Today Show and featured in Scholastic News, which is given to over one million school children.
