Rachel believes in 'Retro Fashion' with a twist. Her designs are inspired from the past but are smartly adjusted to fit into current fashion trends. She blends vintage patterns and modern designs for a collection she thinks is bound to turn heads.

Her designs won her first prize - a cash prize of  $10,000 and a trip to the Tommy Hilfiger studios - in the 2008 Tommy Hilfiger Signature Style Challenge. Rachel was also offered an internship.

If you are a fashionista, you'd know why Rachel could not stop smiling after her much awaited trip to the Tommy Hilfiger Studios in New York City- especially after receiving a "you've got style" compliment from the fashion guru himself! On November 4th, 2008, Rachel was awarded a check of $10,000 in a special ceremony at the Tommy Hilfiger Studios. In addition to her cash prize, Rachel had the opportunity to meet famous designer Tommy Hilfiger, tour his fashion studios and was also offered an internship.
