Inventive Thinking Toolkit

We had an overwhelming response to our 2005/2006 Toolkit. Teachers in every state and from around the world requested and received our Toolkit.

Register now for the NEA endorsed 2007/2008 BKFK Inventive Thinking Toolkit. Our materials provide educators, youth leaders from museums, libraries and out of school programs, as well as families with inspiration, resources & technical assistance that enable them to engage and excite youth while helping develop their inventive thinking & problem solving skills.

Please note: All of our Inventive Thinking Toolkit materials and additional lesson plans can be downloaded now for free. We will be following the same path this year, with a printed kit available and free downloads. Please take advantage of the free downloads - it's faster for you!

Philosophy
BKFK's education section exemplifies our commitment to invention development by providing innovative E-Learning curricula to stretch kids’ minds in the areas of vocabulary development, math, and science. We also incorporate, as an underpinning to our learning resources, early stage development of concepts related to commerce such as entrepreneurship, capitalism, market research, manufacturing, commercialization, profits, and the US patent process. We try to offer some of our online curricula in downloadable / printable form for use by schools not fortunate to have Internet-connected computers for all their children.

Curricula & School Projects
The Invention Engine - Kids Invent! offers after school and week-long programs in which kids work in teams to design, build and test a variety of toys and invent a new toy. They also create web pages to promote their invention and write a one-page business plan to launch their own business. Programs include a variety of after-shool programs.
